Sunday CRAFTernoon classes!

twineletterWe’ve added some exciting new classes at Art on Tap. Starting in July we will be holding craft classes on Sunday afternoons. For our first month we will feature twine covered letters, collage/painting, jewelry making, and a wreath class. No experience is needed for any of these classes, as we will still walk you through the process step-by-step.

Week 1-Twine Letter, July 6th

We will use pre-made wooden or paper mache letters. Using hot glue and a little patience we will cover the letters in twine. Tutorials on making fabric rosettes and bow-tying will also be available. We can also customize the letters for hanging with any other extras. Have a request? Just let us know and we will get the appropriate materials for you! Your first drink is included in the price of these classes, so use this as an opportunity to get out of the house, have a glass of wine, and relax with a friend/neighbor/sister/mother/spouse, etc.

Week 2-Collage Painting, July 13th

We will be collaging different paper to pieces of board before we add some paint to them. These will end up as vintage-crafty decor pieces. Lots of fun to do!

Week 3-Jewelry Making, July 20th

Choose from earrings or bracelets. We will supply pliers, beads, chain, ear wires, clasps, etc. and do tutorials on wire wrapping. We will also give you some tips on design, and set you up to create a few pieces to take home! You can’t buy them for this price…plus you can drink beer or wine while you make them!

Week 4-Summer Wreaths, July 27th

Our summer wreaths will have a variety of materials to work with to create your own masterpiece. Flowers, burlap, ribbon, etc. This is another great class for special requests!

Our classes are offered at various price points so that our crafters can choose what fits their projects needs and budgets. Our studio space is plenty large to accommodate many projects, and we look forward to expanding our class offerings. If you have ideas for future projects that you’d like to see, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
