Meet the artists:
Caitlin has been drawing, painting, and generally creating from a very young age. She attended Alfred University where she received her Bachelor’s in Fine Art. From there she shifted gears and expanded upon her minor in Business by completing her Master’s in Business Administration at RIT. After moving back to the Capital District, together the combination of Art and Business created the perfect background for an art studio ownership to blossom. The nationally growing trend of “Paint and Sip” studios caught her attention, and so Art on Tap was created. Most classes you will find her at the studio teaching, helping out, or pouring drinks!
Nikki discovered her passion for painting at a young age. As a landscape painter, she is often inspired by her hometown of Eagle Bridge, NY, also home to famous folk artist Grandma Moses. Her passion for art led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Master of Fine Arts in painting from the University of New Hampshire. Art has always been Nicole’s main outlet. She loves to encourage others to be creative and explore their artistic abilities. Her other passions include folk music, tchotchkes, horseback riding and big beards.
Kristina grew up in New Jersey, just outside of New York City. She attended Syracuse University where she received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Advertising Design. Shortly after graduating college, she moved to the Capital Region to begin her career in graphic design. Kristina loves all things design and coming up with creative solutions in advertising and marketing, event design, and art direction.
Janelle followed her passions for art and teaching by pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Sage College of Albany. She followed that up with her Master’s in Art Education from Sage Graduate School. Currently teaching art in a local Capital District school, Janelle loves all things crafty. In painting, she prefers acrylic, but also dabbles in watercolor. Outside of Art on Tap, and when she isn’t busy painting and teaching, you’ll find her running half marathons.
